What is wash by kilo
Washing, drying, folding — you do nothing
Wash by kilo is your everyday laundry, billed by weight. You drop off your full basket; we weigh it, sort by colour and fabric, wash at the right temperature, dry and fold everything neatly. You get back a fresh stack — ready to put away in the wardrobe.
Ideal when the laundry basket is never empty: for families, busy dual-income couples, students or a second home. No chore, no waiting for the drum to finish — white stays white, colour stays colour.

Almost anything that goes in a normal wash can join the wash by kilo. Not sure? Bring it in — we sort it out together.
Everyday wash
T-shirts, underwear, trousers and jumpers — washed and returned neatly folded.
Bed & bath linen
Sheets, fitted sheets and towels — washed fresh, soft and in volume.
Shirts & blouses
Washed and, if you like, ironed straight onto a hanger. Just let us know.
Large items
Duvet covers and anything that doesn’t fit easily in the drum or dryer at home.
Sports & children’s clothing
Sweat and playtime gone, back fresh — gently washed at the right temperature.

What does wash by kilo cost per kilo?
We bill by the kilo — so you only pay for what actually goes in the wash. Bring your laundry in or give us a call, and you’ll get the price per kilo straight away, with no surprises afterwards.
How much does an average laundry basket weigh?
Reckon roughly 4 to 6 kg for a well-filled laundry basket. You don’t have to weigh anything yourself — we do that when you drop it off, with you there.
How quickly do I get my laundry back?
Usually within a few days, washed, dried and folded. Need something faster? Say so when you drop it off, and we’ll see together what’s possible.
Does my laundry stay mine?
Always. We keep your laundry separate per customer — your clothes never go in the drum together with someone else’s.
Can I combine wash by kilo with ironing?
Certainly. Have your shirts, table or bed linen ironed at the same time — then everything comes back ready to use in one go. See our ironing service.
And delicate items or wool?
Those belong with the dry cleaning, not the wash by kilo. Feel free to bring them along — we sort them out and treat them separately, piece by piece.
